- Some more SCSI trivia for you all ;^)
-
- Does the A3000T provide termination power to the SCSI bus?
-
- What would be the ideal Mask and MaxTransfer settings?
-
- I have reselection disabled, the SCSI chip is the -04 PROTO.
- The -08 will not work in my system (I have tried two different
- chips) and I get SCSI lock-ups when I try and set my drives
- to work in Synchronous mode. Even the Toshiba CD-ROM drive
- which is supposed to support synchronous transfer will lock
- up even if it is not mounted but as long as it is connected!
-
- I have read with interest many postings about the A3000 SCSI
- bus and from my own findings I can honestly say that it does
- not follow the rules in that what works for one person may
- not automatically work for another, irrespective of whether
- you "follow the rules" or have blatant disregard for them!
-
- And Jeff, don't spend so much time in here reading and replying
- to all these posts......GET PROGRAMMING!! :-))
-
- I didn't realise you had so much experience with SCSI on the
- Amiga.....
-
- Seeya...
