  22. I have reselection disabled, the SCSI chip is the -04 PROTO. 
  23. The -08 will not work in my system (I have tried two different 
  24. chips) and I get SCSI lock-ups when I try and set my drives 
  25. to work in Synchronous mode. Even the Toshiba CD-ROM drive 
  26. which is supposed to support synchronous transfer will lock 
  27. up even if it is not mounted but as long as it is connected!

  29.  I have read with interest many postings about the A3000 SCSI 
  30. bus and from my own findings I can honestly say that it does 
  31. not follow the rules in that what works for one person may 
  32. not automatically work for another, irrespective of whether 
  33. you "follow the rules" or have blatant disregard for them!
